Your first weeks on the market in La Jolla
Short answer: The first weeks after your home goes live tell us a lot. I watch who visits, what they say and what they do next. I report back to you on a set schedule. If the signs point one way, we talk about what to change before it drags on.
Launch week is exciting. It can also be nerve-racking. Sellers want to know: is this going well?
This guide shows what I track, how I share it and what we can change. It makes no promises about price or timing.
I’m Weston Clark, Founding Member of the Dickinson-Clark Team at Compass. I help sellers in La Jolla and coastal San Diego launch with a plan and adjust with clear facts. You can talk about fees with Weston directly. This form does not give a commission quote.

What I watch
- Showings: how many buyers book a visit, and who comes back.
- Feedback: what buyers and their agents say about price, layout and condition.
- Online interest: views and saves on the listing.
- Open house traffic and the questions people ask.
What I report to you
You get regular short updates from me. Each one covers what happened, what buyers said and what I suggest next.
I pass on feedback in plain words, even when it is hard to hear. You can’t fix what you don’t know.
Signs worth talking about
No single week tells the whole story. Patterns do.
- Lots of views but few visits can point to photos or price.
- Lots of visits but no offers can point to condition or price.
- The same comment from many buyers is worth acting on.
What we can change
We can refresh photos, fix a small issue, change how we show the home or adjust the price. My pricing guide explains how I think about price.
If things stall, my home not selling guide and expired listing guide cover next steps.
When an offer comes in
I walk you through every term, not just the price. My offer strategy guide shows how I compare offers. The launch itself follows my home marketing plan.
General information only
This guide explains my process. It does not predict price or how long a sale takes.
