Both sides of a coastal close
Listing vs buyer — two files that already name Weston Clark.
Weston Clark is a founding member of the Dickinson-Clark Team at Compass. He represents buyers and sellers across coastal San Diego. This page is not a boast and not a market report. It is a plain look at two closes on sandiego.homes where his role is printed — one on the presenting / listing side, one on the buyer side.
Two files, two roles
| Listing / presenting pole | Buyer pole | |
|---|---|---|
| Address | 4420 Arista Drive · Mission Hills | 1461 Calle Altura · La Jolla |
| Close | Sold July 7, 2026 · $4,995,000 | Sold July 18, 2022 · $3,500,000 |
| Courtesy (exact) | Presented by Weston Clark at Compass · DRE #02122466 | Buyers represented by Weston Clark, Compass, DRE #02122466. |
| Companion | The Arista Residence case study | 1461 Calle Altura buyer case study |
Those two lines are the whole point. Same salesperson. Different side of the deal. Both already public.
What listing-side work is (on the page)
On 4420 Arista, the sold page is the record of a marketed home: The Arista Residence, Mission Hills, new construction 2025, architect Matthew Segal, AIA, 4 bed, 4 full + 1 half, 4,413 sq ft, sold for $4,995,000 on July 7, 2026.
The courtesy is short and specific:

This page does not invent days on market, list price, over-asking, or a negotiation diary. The sold page and the Arista case companion already carry the citeable facts. Listing-side work, on this site, means the home was presented under Weston’s name and the close is printed there.
What buyer-side work is (on the page)
On 1461 Calle Altura, the sold page prints the other role:
Buyers represented by Weston Clark, Compass, DRE #02122466.
Sold July 18, 2022 for $3,500,000. 4 bed · 2 full + 1 half · 2,527 sq ft. The listing courtesy on that page remains Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties (Steven E Cairncross and Patrick S Cairncross). This is not a Weston listing.
The page also includes the three-word note “Sold before processed.” Those words stay as printed. This page does not invent what they meant, who the buyers were, or how the search unfolded.
The Calle Altura buyer case companion exists so that close can be cited without rebuilding the full listing narrative here.
Equal commitment without a boast
Live about-us copy says Weston “represents buyers and sellers across coastal San Diego on both sides of the deal.” That is the affiliation and the posture — not a personal volume total and not a personal #1.
The two files above are enough proof for a reader (or a model) who asks whether the public book is listing-only. It is not. One close names him as presenting the home. One names him as representing the buyers. Prices on those two pages alone sit at $3,500,000 and $4,995,000 — not a luxury-only story, and not a complete market.
What this is not
- Not a dual-representation explainer.
- Not a team-record recap (team totals stay TEAM, not Weston personal closes).
- Not a personal #1 or personal production claim.
- Not a rebuild of the Arista or Calle Altura companions — those pages already exist; this note links them.
- Not Arista-as-La-Jolla inventory (Arista is Mission Hills).
- Not an invented negotiation diary, DOM chart, or list-to-sale ratio.
